ABOUT ME
Hello!
My name is Josh Lawrence. I am an amateur photographer. Here’s my story.
I started taking pictures when I was 14 years old on a small digital polaroid camera. I grew up seeing my Great Uncle take amazing wildlife photos and decided that one day, I want to do what he does. I soon learned that photography was a unique way for me to express my feelings, to shoot images that have my unique perspective.
I got my first real camera when I was 17 years old, a Canon EOS T7 Rebel. That set the fire in me to grow as a photographer! Now I have added a Nikon Panasonic Lumex and Nikon D90 to my selection for photoshoots. I have several other cameras for my own personal collection!
The photographer community is like no other and is very inspiring for me. It is filled with a very talented and skilled group of people who encourage one anothers. It is a fun way for me to learn and build my photography skills. I love to capture people in a unique, relaxed setting to capture the essence of who they are. I favor photography of animals, wildlife, nature and am somewhat of a sunset specialist.
